Your main objective is to steal valuables and sell them to your pal in the truck outside the manor, or so you think..
Part of me looks a lot like "just a horror game" on the surface, which we of course aimed for, but it is also a very nail biting, not very forgiving, stealth experience. The enemy AI is fairly complex. He will open doors, go around his house to do activities in certain rooms, turn on and off the lights, has a random patrol route and 3 stages of alert. That being normal, scouting and full on chase states.
I was very set on creating a 360 level, meaning you can approach it from almost any direction to enter the house. It felt appropriate given the context of the game, that being breaking into a house and not necessarily wanting to take the front door.
Part of me is a singleplayer, stealth horror game set in the early 2000's. You play as a burglar, just another job you thought, but you uncover more disturbing things about the house you're trying to rob as the game progresses.
